Note that you can only take workshops at the level that you qualify for or have successfully auditioned for.
Workshop Levels:
SWW25 has added more levels to the workshops to create a better learning experience for all attendees. These levels will be based on WSDC points, but dancers can ‘audition’ for higher level workshops even if they do not meet the point requirement.
- L1 – Newcomers with less than 6 months WCS experience, or very limited social dancing experience.
- L2 – Novice dancers who social dance regularly and know their 6 and 8 count moves – pushes, passes, underarms, whips, cutoffs, tuck passes, slingshots, hip catches, etc.
- L3 – Minimum 1 point in WSDC ‘Novice’ Division.
- L4 – Minimum 1 point in WSDC ‘Intermediate’ Division.
- L5 – Dancers who qualify to dance in WSDC ‘Advanced’ or ‘All-star’ Divisions.
